We, Jaap and Lia Teeling-van Hal, warmly welcome you to our website and later also to our house Alpenglühen in Ehrwald (Tyrol), of which we have been the proud owners since mid-2023.
The name alpenglow refers to a meteorological phenomenon: in the evening sun, the mountains glow red (alpenglow), a sign that the next day will be a beautiful day again. And that is exactly what we want to offer you in this beautiful and welcoming place. A wonderful place for a longer or shorter vacation.
The house is on a large private property with a garden and terrace, private parking and not far from the center of Ehrwald.
The house brings together history, new construction, comfort and coziness. Not least because the house also has its own bar for our guests, where, in addition to the standard range, great emphasis is also placed on wine.
Alpenglühen has 10 modern, newly renovated apartments of different sizes, suitable for 2 to 10 people. We have 1 (wheelchair accessible) apartment on the ground floor.
In short: contemporary comfort, wonderful mountain air, breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks such as Grubigstein, Sonnenspitze and especially the Zugspitze as well as a huge range of indoor and outdoor sports options in winter and summer make your stay inviting and unforgettable.
